OUR PHILOSOPHY<\/h1>

Founded in 1913 in the town of Le Blanc (Indre), today, DILECTA is reborn in its region of origin, Center Val de Loire.<\/p>

The company is made up of a human-sized team of practicing<\/strong>, enthusiastic and experienced cyclists. It is characterized by a local commitment<\/strong>, an evolution, a design and traditional artisanal manufacturing<\/strong> in small series of handmade numbered, high-end<\/strong> frames and bicycles, and a French and European line of technical clothing.<\/p>

It brings together a community of enthusiasts wishing to share a v\u00e9lo \u00e0 la fran\u00e7aise<\/strong> (French cycling) way of living.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>

DILECTA<\/strong>* cherishes French know-how, elegance, pleasure, exploration, sharing and the respect for the environment<\/h3>

*DILECTA from the Latin Dilectus: We love what we do and it shows<\/em><\/p>

We have chosen to develop our products in close collaboration with one of the best specialists in French handcrafted bicycle manufacturing, whose know-how and expertise have been recognized for decades<\/strong> and awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant<\/em> (EPV)<\/em> (Living Heritage) label for their manufacturing excellence and superior quality.<\/p>

Our desire is to contribute to the conservation and development of traditional artisanal manufacturing to perpetuate cycling heritage<\/strong>, this know-how, from generation to generation. We favor a local base, in Touraine, where DILECTA custom frames were manufactured as of 1937.<\/p>

And it is in Italy, in the heart of Veneto, a land of cycling tradition, that we have developed with the best local craftsmen, our new range of aluminum gravel frames Dedacciai Fire Light 7005 series, whose tubes are manufactured and treated Cremasca, in Emilia-Romagna.<\/p>

We imagine, develop, design and manufacture elegant designer products, with sophisticated lines in France and Italy.<\/h3>

We choose and select the best materials and components on the market <\/strong>and prioritize French and European brands when justified.<\/p>
